The vision of Fulbrook inspires us all to work just a little harder.
Doug Konopka
Who's Who On Fulbrook's Development Team
Doug Konopka
Developer
As president of DHK Development, Inc., Doug Konopka has been instrumental in planning and implementing developments in Uptown Houston/Galleria, Southwest Houston, Friendswood, Katy, League City, Pasadena, Sugar Land and Webster. But his true labor of love is the creation of Fulbrook, through Fulbrook Partners, Ltd. Doug is also bringing Fulshear Town Center to life, a group of retail and professional buildings in downtown Fulshear, just minutes from Fulbrook's front door.
Gayle Bowen and Doris Cady
Home Sales
If the tour of our new community and the response to your questions seem unusually energetic, chalk it up to the enthusiasm and experience of Gayle and Doris of Gayle Bowen, Inc., who handle Fulbrook's lot and custom home sales. You'll find them at The Prairie House Information Center, and you'll also find them to be very helpful to those who love to be "At Home with Nature."
Noah Worley
Open Space Manager
As Fulbrook's vision comes to full flower, members of our Homeowner's Association tell us they love having a native grass and wildflower expert working with their committees. Noah Worley, Fulbrookıs Open Space Manager, is a 2003 graduate from Texas A&M, where he received his graduate degree in Rangeland Ecology & Management in 2005. Noah manages the expansion of Fulbrook's native prairie grass restoration program, and lives with his family in the Caretaker's Cottage of Fulbrook Green.
David Smith
Land Planning and Landscape Architecture
A large component in achieving Fulbrook's goal to be "At Home with Nature", are the contributions of SLA StudioLand, Inc. This outstanding firm was instrumental in planning village and road layouts, as well as amenity features and landscaping for our community. Their specialty: balancing the needs of society with the environmental sensitivities of the land. With offices in Houston, Chappell Hill and Tokyo, the firm has provided services in at least 15 countries. Among the notable local projects are First Colony, Kingwood, Moody Gardens and the Woodlands, to name a few.
Steven Whisenant
Prarie Restoration and Conservation Corridors
He's supervised projects across the United States, as well as in Argentina, Australia, China, France, Mexico, Niger and Taiwan, and he was instrumental in bringing the vision of Fulbrook's conservation corridors to life. Steve Whisenant, Department Head of Rangeland Ecology & Management at Texas A&M University, has been a teacher, researcher, and consultant on a wide range of ecological restoration and natural resource management issues. We are pleased to have him as part of the Fulbrook team.
Robert Deden

It's a really big thing when all the little things in life work as they should. Robert Deden, formed Robert T. Deden Services in 1988 to provide civil engineering services in the construction/development of public sector drainage facilities, road and utilities, client originated residential subdivisions and site developments. Residents of Fulbrook are grateful to him that they donıt have to worry about those "little things". Jackson & Ryan Architects, Inc.

Today, with completed work in 31 states and foreign countries, Jackson & Ryan work is recognized by clients and colleagues alike for excellence and noted for being uniquely responsive to clients' needs rather than conforming to a preconceived or forced style.
Susan Lapham / Avenues
Advertising & Design
Bringing the look, feel, and magic of Fulbrook to the public's attention in a timely manner, and supporting the community's events with style and flair are no small tasks. If Susan Lapham makes it look effortless, chalk that up to the inspired hard work of her boutique design and advertising firm, Avenues. Since 1985, Susan and her team have planned and created media advertising, websites and print materials that educate and motivate the public. Her clients have included a national golf course company, a NYSE-listed worldwide insurance company, several oil and gas exploration companies, restaurants and a stable group of real estate developers.
